The origin of this airbrush came from its inventor, O.C. WOLD, a Norwegian immigrant to the United States of America. His first commercial product was on the market in the year 1896. (The A-196 model) |
| Originally, the products were imported and when it was discovered that the manufacturers of WOLD had ceased business, manufacturing them here in New Zealand was a great option. It then became a quest in search of a precision engineer, who could produce this fine tool to the excellence of the WOLD, which has been around for three centuries. |
